Large bed, air conditioning, showers and regular food. Angela and I both drove our own vehicles and I'll be leaving mine here till I arrive in Tuolumne Meadows, five weeks from now. Then Don and Mike will come up and rescue me from the trail, probably hosing me off before letting me in the car! Or at least making sure all the windows are down.

Tomorrow Angela will drive me to Chester, CA, which is 7.5 miles from the PCT trailhead. Tuesday morning Angela will drop me off and I'll start hiking south. A perfect solution to the complications that come with being a section hiker.
